VMware CEO Pat Gelsinger Speaks at Company Conference Next Monday

VMware Inc. is starting their annual VMworld conference in Las Vegas this weekend. Next Monday, company CEO Pat Gelsinger is addressing the attendees as one of the general session keynote speakers.
The theme of the conference is, "be_TOMORROW" and over 23,000 people are expected to come out. There will be over 400 breakout sessions for VMware customers and partners.
Gelsinger's keynote is at 9 a.m. He will share his company's perspective on digital business and how there are empowering the innovation capabilities of their customers.
Since September 2012, Gelsinger has been CEO of VMware. Prior to assuming the role, he was president and COO of parent company EMC.
Before joining EMC, Gelsinger was with Intel Corporation for 30 years. He holds the distinction of being Intel's first Chief Technology Officer.
Gelsinger also served for a period of time as the Digital Enterprise Group general manager. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Santa Clara University and a master's degree from Stanford University.
