Last Thursday, one of the pioneers of virtual reality technology spoke at VidCon. Jens Christensen was a keynote speaker at the conference.
VidCon was held June 23-25 in Anaheim, California at The Anaheim Convention Center. It is the largest conference for people involved in the online video industry.
During his presentation, Christensen discussed the future of virtual reality. There were several other speeches, panels and an exposition hall.
Christensen has a lengthy history as a computer executive. He is the founder and former CEO of Jaunt, a cinematic virtual reality company.
Christensen recently stepped down from Jaunt after three years of leading it through several rounds of growth. This year, Fast Company named them the most innovative VR/AR company.
Prior to Jaunt, Christensen was the Entrepreneur-In-Residence at Redpoint Ventures. He was previously the founder and CEO of two other companies, Ellerdale and PostModern.
