TV One Host Roland Martin Named Keynote Speaker for Black Engineers Conference

One of the nation's most popular political pundits is addressing the National Society of Black Engineers Professional Development Conference this month. Roland Martin will speak at the conference that runs September 29-October 2 at The Westin Charlotte in North Carolina.
Over 500 engineers will attend the event to learn more about their industry. This year, the theme of the NSBE conference is "Elevating Our Culture, Career and Community".
In addition to the speakers that will be present, there will be ample opportunity to network and participate in workshops. Martin will speak on October 1st from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
Martin is currently the managing editor and top host for TV One's NewsOne Now. It airs each weekday on both radio and television, providing an African American perspective to the top stories of the day.
In addition, Martin serves as a syndicated columnist for Creators Syndicate and senior analyst for the Tom Joyner Morning Show. He is the author of three books.
Prior to joining TV One, Martin was a top political analyst for six years at CNN. He has won two NAACP Image Awards in his career and is a member of Texas A&M's Journalism Hall of Honor.
