Tim Tebow Named Keynote Speaker at Cancer Wellness Foundation Benefit

There are not many people more popular among fans of the Southeastern Conference than former Florida Gators star Tim Tebow.  Tebow will be in the heart of SEC country in January contributing to a good cause.

He has been pegged as the featured speaker for a benefit in Montgomery, Alabama benefiting the Cancer Wellness Foundation of Central Alabama.  “The Journey Continues…Tim Tebow” will take place on January 16th at the Montgomery Performing Arts Center.

Ticket prices for the benefit range from $60-$175.  A VIP reception kicks off the festivities at 6 p.m. followed by Tebow’s speech.

Tebow is a prominent face on the SEC Network, where he is an analyst for the show SEC Nation.  He also contributes to other platforms across the ESPN family of networks.

After his storied college career, Tebow had many stints as an NFL quarterback, including a notable run to the playoffs with the Denver Broncos during his second season.  He most recently spent time in training camp with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Tebow could not have accomplished much more during his time with the Gators.  He won two national championships, took home the Heisman Trophy as a sophomore, and set SEC record for passing efficiency and rushing touchdowns.
