Teacher Development Coach Todd Whitaker Keynotes Bibb County Schools Convocation

On Monday, July 25th, one of the top educators of teachers in the country visited Bibb County in Georgia. Development coach Todd Whitaker was the keynote speaker at the Bibb County Schools Convocation.
The theme of the convocation was "Victory in Progress". Whitaker gave attendees a day by day approach to improvement.
He also talked about what teachers individually could do to get better. Finally, he preached a policy of treating everyone better and not assuming the worst from individuals.
Whitaker serves as a professor of educational leadership at Indiana State University. He has studied what makes effective teachers and school administrators for his entire life.
In 2013, Whitaker received Indiana State's highest faculty honor, the President's Medal. Before joining the university ranks, he was involved as a teacher and coach.
Whitaker also had stints as a principal in elementary, middle and high school. He has written over 30 books, including the bestseller, "What Great Teachers Do Differently".
