Not often to return to their alma mater to speak about success.  That is exactly the opportunity that TaskRabbit.com founder Leah Busque is getting in May.

Busque was named commencement speaker at Sweet Briar College.  She will address the Class of 2016 graduates on May 14th.

In 2001, Busque graduated from Sweet Briar with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and computer science.  She currently is serving a second term on the school's Board of Directors.

There is no question that Busque has become a leader in the technology industry.  She started her career at IBM as a software engineer and founded TaskRabbit in 2008.

TaskRabbit has become a leading on-demand service marketplace.  The company has been named "The Next Big Thing in Tech" by the New York Times and Busque has raised almost $50 million in venture capital.

Busque was named one of the "100 Most Creative People in Business" by Fast Company.  She was also selected to the Forum of Young Global Leaders in 2014.
