Student Motivational Speaker Arel Moodie Emcees Youth Conference at Cal State San Bernardino

On December 9th, Cal State San Bernardino hosted the ninth annual Y4 youth conference. Motivational speaker Arel Moodie once again served as the emcee of the event.

Around 550 young people between the ages of 17-24 attended to hear remarks from Moodie and others. The idea of the conference is to inspire the next generation towards success in life. 

There were career guidance, educational resources and a job fair also available at the Santos Manuel Student Union. Moodie emphasized the need to take action regarding one's future immediately. 

Moodie found his way out of a difficult situation, growing up on welfare in the Brooklyn, New York projects. Before he turned 30, he had created a million dollar event production company. 

Now, Moodie has shared his message with over 300,000 people in 48 states and five countries. He has been a featured speaker at the White House as well. 

Moodie is a bestselling author. He has been named to Inc. Magazine's "30 Under 30" list of top American entrepreneurs and was called "America's Top Young Speaker" by Essence Magazine.
