Singer-songwriter Natalie Imbruglia already does work for legendary entrepreneur Richard Branson as a Virgin Unite ambassador. Last week, she was on Branson's private Necker Island for a conference with other ambassadors.
Imbruglia spoke about a cause near and dear to her heart, fighting Fistula. Fistula is a complication that comes from childbirth.
There were several others that also shared the philanthropic efforts they support. In addition to her presentation, Imbruglia also performed a small concert for those in attendance.
Imbruglia had immediate success in the music business when she entered in the mid-1990's. Her first album, "Left of the Middle", sold over seven million copies.
The debut international single from that record, "Torn", was number one on the Billboard Airplay chart for 14 weeks and hit number two on the UK Singles Chart. She won an MTV Video Music Award as Best New Artist and was nominated for three Grammys.
Imbruglia has released four albums since, including "Male" after a six-year hiatus in 2015. She remains a massive star in her native country of Australia, where Torn is one of the most-played songs of the last two decades.
