Shark Tank Star Barbara Corcoran Speaks at National Association of Home Builders Conference Next Month

The National Association of Home Builders is bringing in one of the country's best-known entrepreneurs to speak at their convention next month. "Shark Tank" personality Barbara Corcoran will speak at the event that runs January 10-12 at the Orange County Convention Center. 

The International Home Builders Show attracts 60,000 attendees and 1,400 exhibitors. It alternates between Orlando and Las Vegas every two years. 

In addition to Corcoran, iconic former quarterback Peyton Manning will also speak. Registration is still open for members and non-members. 

Corcoran is best known for being one of the "Shark" investors on ABC's hit show, "Shark Tank." Through her role on the show, she has invested in 22 different companies.

Corcoran has a successful business background in real estate. Knowing she wanted to be her own boss, she founded The Corcoran Group in 1973.

Corcoran has been a columnist for several publications and is author of three books. In addition to her role on Shark Tank, she appears on other programs talking real estate like NBC's "Today."
