Security Expert Anthony Cordesman Highlights Marshall House Speaker Series

Anthony Cordesman is one of the latest adds to a speaker series at The George C. Marshall International Center.  On May 3rd, he will address the crowd at the Marshall House Speaker Series. 

Cordesman's presentation begins at 6:30 p.m.  His speech is titled, "National Security Priorities vs. Defense Budget Rationalities".  

Going to the event requires a $20 donation and a reservation.  Proceeds will go towards upkeep on The Marshall House. 

Cordesman currently serves as the Arleigh A. Burke Chair in Strategy at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.  He has authored over 50 books that deal with issues of national security and military strategy. 

Prior to his current role with CSIS, Cordesman has held an array of other positions in the organization.  He also is the former national security assistant to Senator John McCain and has lent his expertise to many others. 

Cordesman has worked on assignments across the globe, with many of his posts coming in Middle East countries like Egypt, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia.  He is the recipient of the Department of Defense Distinguished Service medal.
