SC16 Selects IBM Executive Katharine Frase as Keynote Speaker

This November, one of IBM's top executives is speaking at SC16. Katharine Frase is the keynote speaker that runs November 13-18 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
SC16 is a conference that addresses high-performance computing, networking, storage and analysis. Frase keynote will be delivered on and is titled, "Cognitive Computing: how can we accelerate human decision making, creativity and innovation using techniques from Watson and beyond?"
It is the 29th edition of SC16. In addition to the conference, there will be an exhibition that runs November 14-17 at the Salt Palace Convention Center.
Frase currently directs the strategy and business development efforts for IBM's Watson Education branch. In the role, she gives solutions for student learning and helps support instructors across the full sphere of education.
Prior to taking her current role, Frase held several other top positions with IBM. She is also a member of the IBM Academy of Technology.
In 2006, Frase became a member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in materials science and engineering.
