Scooter Braun deals with young people every day, so speaking at an event meant to lift up teenagers is very fitting. Next Thursday, he is the keynote speaker at "Stress, Success and Teenage Setback" in Greenwich, Connecticut.
It will be held at the Arch Street Teen Center from 6-8 p.m. The event is meant to talk to middle school and high school students and their parents about teen mental health.
There will be food and refreshments, live music, a swag bag, and raffle at the free event. Braun is a graduate of Greenwich High School which makes his return to town even more impactful.
Braun has folded his media and entertainment empire under the banner SB Projects. His record label represents chart toppers like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Martin Garrix.
There is also a very successful television and film division of SB Projects. The technology branch of the company, Silent Labs, has investments in businesses like Pinterest, Spotify and Uber.
In 2013, Braun was named one of the Time's "100 Most Influential People in the World" and to Billboard's "40 Under 40" list. Prior to starting SB Projects, he started as one of the youngest executives in the music business as vice president of marketing at So So Def Records.
