Real Housewives Star Taylor Armstrong Speaks at YWCA Oklahoma City Event
Dec 15 2016

Many people do not associate reality television stars with making an impact, but that is exactly what former Real Housewives personality Taylor Armstrong is trying to do. On December 1st, she was back in her home state speaking at the YWCA Oklahoma City Women Who Care Share Luncheon.
Armstrong spoke at the event about the domestic violence she went through with her ex-husband. She was able to share her thoughts during the periods of abuse and how she survived.
There were nearly 1,000 people in attendance at the event at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Armstrong's message was certainly impactful to many who came out.
Armstrong was one of the stars of the original cast of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." The show premiered on Bravo in 2010 and season seven just debuted last week.
For the first three years of the show, Armstrong was a member of the main cast. Since, she has been a guest star while focusing on other areas of her life.
In 2012, Armstrong released her memoir that dealt with abuse titled, "Hiding from Reality: My Story of Love, Loss, and Finding the Courage Within." She is a supporter of the 1736 Family Crisis Center non-profit.
