One top political writer is joining the World Affairs Council of Dallas and Fort Worth tomorrow.  Pulitzer Prize-winning author Joby Warrick will talk to those assembled about his book, "Black Flags: The Rise of ISIS".

The evening begins with a 6 p.m. reception at the Hotel Crescent Court and Warrick's presentation begins at 6:30 p.m.  Following the talk, a book signing will take place.

Tickets for Council members are $25 and they are $40 for non-members.  The World Affairs Council is a group that has provided information about global issues since 1951.

In Black Flags, Warrick shows how failed logic of going to war in Iraq has created the growth of ISIS and other radical Islamic groups.  In addition to receiving the Pulitzer Prize, it was named the Best Book of 2015 by notable outlets like The New York Times, The Washington Post and People Magazine.

Warrick also won a Pulitzer Prize for Public Service in 1996 working on the reporting team at the Raleigh News and Observer.  Since that time, he was been on the staff of The Washington Post as both a stateside reporter and overseas correspondent.

Warrick is the author of the bestseller, "The Triple Agent: The Al-Qaeda Mole Who Infiltrated the CIA" as well.  He is a graduate of Temple University.
