Political Radio Host Laura Ingraham Speaks at Mama's House Luncheon

One of the most popular political talk personalities was on hand this weekend to help raise money for the women's shelter Mama's House.  Laura Ingraham was the speaker at their annual luncheon on January 16th. 

Ingraham's presentation drew a sold-out crowd of 956 people at the Indian Wells Resort and Spa in California.  The event was titled, "A Candle in the Darkness".  

There was a large silent auction and raffle ticket sales at the luncheon.  Ingraham spoke about several things that contribute to darkness in the world today and how love is the answer to overcoming these obstacles. 

The Laura Ingraham Show is heard daily across the country in 225 markets and has been ranked as the top mid-morning program in the U.S.  It originally launched on XM Satellite Radio in 2001 and is now syndicated by Courtside Entertainment Group.

Ingraham has landed at number one the New York Times Bestseller list twice and written several other books.  She is a guest host on Fox News' O'Reilly Factor and a contributor to ABC News' This Week.

Before landing in the media, Ingraham worked as an attorney and a speechwriter for Ronald Reagan.  She is the founder and the current Editor-In-Chief of LifeZette.com.
