Pinterest Head of Diversity Candice Morgan Keynotes Game Changers 2016

This October, Pinterest's Head of Diversity Candice Morgan is keynoting a special event for Girlstart.  The mission of Girlstart is to promote involvement for girls and young women in science, technology, engineering and math.  

Morgan is headlining their Game Changers Annual Luncheon.  The luncheon will be held October 26th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the JW Marriott in Austin, Texas. 

Individual tickets go on sale in August.  Sponsorship packages range in price from $2,000-$15,000. 

Morgan has an important role as the first Head of Diversity at Pinterest.  She works to find ways to advance inclusion at the company that describes itself as the "world's catalog of ideas.

Prior to arriving at Pinterest, Morgan was at a leading women in business non-profit, Catalyst.  She holds a master's degree in cross-cultural psychology from Brunel University and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Carnegie Mellon University. 

While at Carnegie Mellon, Morgan received their Psychology Undergraduate Research Award.  She won the award for her senior thesis that dealt with ethnic identity and interpersonal relationships.
