PHX East Valley Economic Forum Names Arizona State President Michael Crow Keynote Speaker

The PHX East Valley Economic Forum is held annually to discuss the future of the region and Arizona. This year, one of the most influential leaders in the state will serve as keynote speaker.
Arizona State president Michael Crow will speak on December 21st. The entire event is being put on by the East Valley Partnership.
This year, the PHX East Valley Economic Profile will be released. There will also be a Lifetime Achievement Award and Leadership Award handed out.
In 2002, Crow became ASU's 16th president. During his tenure, the school's research budget has quadrupled and started over a dozen new trans-disciplinary schools and research initiatives.
The last two years, ASU has been named by U.S. News and World Report as the nation's most innovative school. Before coming to Tempe, Crow was the executive vice provost of Columbia University.
Crow is an elected fellow at the American Assocation for the Advancement of Science and the National Academy of Public Administration. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
