Personal Finance Expert Farnoosh Torabi Speaks at Springfield Forum Speaker Series

One of the top personal finance experts in the country came to Springfield, Massachusetts on Tuesday night.  Farnoosh Torabi spoke at the Springfield Forum speaker series. 

It was the third event of the series and it was held at Symphony Hall.  The title of Torabi's discussion was, "Financial Strategies for Every Age."

Torabi told the 200 people assembled that it was important to start investing regardless what income level a person is at.  There are two upcoming installments of the speaker series that will deal more exclusively with political issues. 

Torabi serves as host of CNBC's "Follow the Leader."  She is also the monthly financial writer to "O, The Oprah Magazine."

Torabi's daily podcast, "So Money," was named the "Top Podcast To Grow Your Business" by Inc. Magazine.  She is the author of three books and her latest, "When She Makes More: 10 Rules for Breadwinning Women," is an Amazon.com number one bestseller. 

Torabi began her career as a reporter at Money Magazine.  She previously hosted a web series for Yahoo Finance and ran the business news department at New York 1 News as well.
