Rwandan genocide survivor Immaculee Ilibagiza has an inspiring story to tell. She will share that and more as the keynote speaker at OneLife L.A. 2017.
The third edition of OneLife is being held on January 21st in Los Angeles. It is an event that draws tens of thousands of pro-life advocates.
There are several other speakers who will also join Ilibagiza. There will also be a family-friendly picnic featuring music, food trucks and exhibits.
When the 1994 Rwandan genocide started, Ilibagiza was a college student. She hid with seven women in a cramped bathroom only to emerge 91 days later.
During that time, Ilibagiza had lost 50 pounds, and most of her family had been killed. She used prayer to get her through that horror and was able to forgive those who murdered her closest relatives.
Ilibagiza wrote "Left to Tell" about her experiences and it became a New York Times bestseller. She has published six other books since and a film about her life is currently in production.
