There is certainly some renewed interest recently in the O.J. Simpson trial. FX recently ran their multipart series "The People vs. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story" and ESPN is getting slated to air their latest 30 for 30 documentary "OJ: Made in America".
All the buzz makes the former lead prosecutor on the case, Marcia Clark, a woman in high-demand. On Thursday, she was in front of a sold out crowd at the Huntington Beach Central Library to discuss her new book.
Clark also answered audience questions and signed copies of her courtroom thriller, "Blood Defense". The event lasted until around 9 p.m. when she had finally signed all the books for her fans.
Even prior to the Simpson trial, Clark has worked on several high-profile cases as a prosecutor for the State of California, County of Los Angeles. Following those events in the mid-1990's, she never practiced law again, but instead launched into a successful career as an author.
Clark penned a book about the case titled "Without a Doubt". Blood Defense is her fifth novel and she also writes for The Daily Beast.
