NWABR IRB Conference Names Applied Mathematician Max Little Keynote Speaker

The Northwest Association of Biomedical Research is hosting their annual IRB conference later this month. Mathematician Max Little will keynote the July 21st event.
It will be held at the Seattle Airport Marriott and the purpose of the conference is to look at ethical and regulatory problems that impact technology use in research. The theme of this year's proceedings is, "Ethics and Regulation in the Digital Age".
In addition to Little, several other top speakers will be present. Those who cannot attend in person have access to a live webcast.
Little is an Associate Professor at MIT and Aston University. His work in applied mathematics has been used in areas like biomedicine, extreme rainfall and speech science.
Little is also the Director of the Parkinson's Voice Initiative. While getting his Ph.D. at Oxford University, he discovered that Parkinson's could be detected from voice recordings.
A well-known TED Fellow, Little gives presentations on an array of topics. He began his career as a software writer for video games.
