Noblis CEO Amr ELSawy Named Keynote Speaker at Consumer Electronics Show Government

One of the nation's top research and engineering companies, Noblis, sent their CEO as a keynote speaker to the Consumer Electronics Show Government. Amr ELSawy spoke at the invitation-only conference that ran January 3-5 in Las Vegas.
In his address, ELSawy presented ten key strategies needed to defend against cyber threats. His speech hit on the theme of the conference, "Cyber, Analytics, and the Internet-of-Things."
200 of the top government IT professionals in the country attended CESG 2016. The conference furthered attendees understanding of technology and the role that it plays in government, business, and every aspect of the human endeavor.
ELSawy has been president and CEO of Noblis since October 2007 and that year he was also named to the company's Board of Trustees. Noblis has had great success in his tenure, including multiple appearances on the list of the "50 Best Small and Mid-Size Companies to Work for in America".
The Washingtonian Magazine named ELSawy to its list of Tech Titans in 2011 and 2013. In 2009, he was named EcoCEO by SmartCEO Magazine and Noblis has also been dubbed one of the World's Most Ethical companies by the Ethisphere Institute.
In addition to his role on the board for Noblis, ELSawy also serves on the boards of the Wolf Trap Foundation for Performing Arts and the Washington Airports Task Force. He has a master's degree in business administration from Georgetown University, a master's in electrical engineering from George Washington University, and did his engineering undergraduate work at West Virginia University.
