It is always a special feeling to go back to one's alma mater, but being able to speak at commencement is a totally different honor. That is something MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle gets to experience this spring.
Ruhle is the speaker for Lehigh University's 149th commencement in May. The ceremony takes place at Goodman Stadium beginning at 10 a.m.
In 1997, Ruhle graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in international business. She returned to campus in an official capacity to speak on a panel about national debt back in 2013.
Ruhle is well-known as the weekday morning host of "MSNBC Live with Stephanie Ruhle." She has also been a co-anchor of "Weekend TODAY" on NBC.
Prior to joining NBC, Ruhle was the managing editor and anchor for Bloomberg Television and editor-at-large for Bloomberg News. She has a background in finance and prior to joining the media worked as a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank.
Ruhle is the founder of the Corporate Investment Bank Women's Network. This year, she was recognized as a Women of the Year by Girls Inc. NYC.
