Motivational Speaker Nick Vujicic Kicks Off Ava School District Be Strong, Stop Bullying Campaign

The Ava School District is working hard to stop bullying.  They brought top motivational speaker Nick Vujicic to Springfield, Missouri recently as part of their Be Strong, Stop Bullying campaign. 

On Monday, Vujicic spoke to students through a live streaming simulcast.  The event targeted those in 6th-12th grades. 

Vujicic was able to discuss how kids overcome obstacles.  In addition to watching the presentation, students could interact through the Be Strong, Stop Bullying App.

Even though he was born without any hands or legs, Vujicic has not been slowed in life.  In 2005, he established the non-profit ministry Life Without Limbs. 

Vujicic has published a book by the same name that has been translated into 30 languages.  He had his first speaking engagement at 19 and that launched him on a career path would take him around the world. 

Vujicic was originally born in Australia and he moved to southern California in adulthood.  He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Griffith University.
