Management Expert Johanna Rothman Speaks at Boston Workshop

Yesterday, top management expert Johanna Rothman took part in an event for the Boston Software Process Improvement Network. The session was titled, "Effective Project Portfolio Management: End the Multitasking!"

The evening agenda began with a networking period at 6 p.m. Rothman spoke from 7:10-8:15 p.m. and answered audience questions following the presentation. 

Rothman gave people useful tips for managing their busy schedules. She showed how any organization can manage their project portfolios, no matter how packed they may seem. 

Rothman is known as the "Pragmatic Manager" for giving honest advice for tough problems. She currently serves as the technical editor for AgileConnection.com. 

Rothman has written several books on project management and software development. She is a columnist for Techwell.com and ProjectManagement.com.
