Lululemon Founder Chip Wilson Named a Keynote Speaker at Next Great Consumer Brands Event

On Wednesday, Lululemon founder Chip Wilson is keynoting an exciting consumer brands showcase. He will be one of two keynote speakers at the Next Great Consumer Brands event in New York City.
The event is being held at The Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square. Iconic home and lifestyle expert Martha Stewart is the other keynote speaker.
There will be plenty of other presentations from some top emerging brands. Investors and lenders with proven track records are welcome to attend.
Wilson is an entrepreneur, with his most successful project being Lululemon, a yoga-inspired athletic apparel company. He founded the company in 1998 and stayed on as CEO until 2005.
As a predecessor to Lululemon, Wilson founded his first athletic apparel company, Westbeach Snowboard Ltd., in 1979. He sold Westbeach in 1997.
Wilson has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Calgary. He and his wife currently contribute to a number of charitable causes.
