Actor Hal Holbrook has had a lengthy, distinguished career on the screen.  He will try to impart the wisdom he has learned over years in the cutthroat world of Hollywood with students at Lincoln College.

Holbrook has been named the school's 2016 commencement speaker.  This Saturday, he will address the graduates at 2 p.m.

In addition to speaking, Holbrook will also receive an honorary degree.  The college will be honoring 273 candidates during commencement.

Even at 91 years old, Holbrook remains a vital part of the entertainment world.  His most popular recent roles came in the Academy Award-nominated film "Lincoln" and the hit FX series "Sons of Anarchy".

Holbrook was Oscar-nominated for Best Supporting Actor in 2008 for his role in "Into The Wild".  He has won three Primetime Emmy Awards and a Tony during his career.
