Leading Inventor Ray Kurzweil Named Keynote Speaker at Inmar Analytics Forum

Ray Kurzweil has been called the "Restless Genius" by The Wall Street Journal.  Attendees at the Inmar Analytics Forum this April will get access to that vast intellect when Kurzweil presents his keynote speech.

The forum runs April 12-14 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina at the Benton Convention Center.  Kurzweil will open the event that Tuesday with his presentation titled, "Data, Technology and Invention: Strategies to Create the Future".  

The Inmar Analytics Forum brings together 1,000 promotion, healthcare, and supply chain professionals.  There will be over 70 different sessions over the three days split into those three tracks that provide information individuals can take home to better their business.

Kurzweil has been ranked a top ten entrepreneur and called "the rightful heir to Thomas Edison" by Forbes.  He has written seven books and five of those have become national bestsellers. 

Areas that Kurzweil has expertise in include futurism, robotics, and life extension technologies.  He was the principal inventor of the charge-coupled flatbed scanner, the omni-font optical character recognition, the print-to-speech reading machine for the blind, and a commercial text-to-speech synthesizer.  

In 1999, Kurzweil received the highest U.S. honor for technology, the National Medal of Technology and Innovation.  He was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2002.
