Inventor Dean Kamen Keynotes Regenerative Medicine Conversation This Month

Inventor Dean Kamen is set to hold a substantial discussion about regenerative medicine. The event is being hosted in collaboration with the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council, the North Shore Technology Council and New Hampshire's Biotech/MedTech Cluster.
On March 13th, attendees with gather at DEKA Auditorium in Manchester, New Hampshire from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 for NH High Tech Council members, $25 for not-yet-members and $10 for students.
Kamen is going to focus his talk on the advantages that regenerative medicine can bring to New England and the rest of the country. It is the just the latest speaking engagement for a man who tirelessly travels the country to promote science and technology.
Kamen serves as the president of the DEKA Research & Development Corporation. He holds over 440 patents in the United States and internationally.
Kamen's career as an inventor began when he was a college student and created the first wearable infusion pump. He started his first medical company, AutoSyringe, Inc.
While running AutoSyringe, Inc., Kamen developed the first wearable insulin pump for diabetics. He won a National Medal of Technology in 2000 and is a member of the National Inventors Hall of Fame.
