IECA Names Weather Channel Star Jim Cantore a Keynote Speaker for Conference

The International Erosion Control Association Region One is hosting their annual convention this February. At Environment Connection 2017, one of the top personalities when it comes to weather is taking the stage as keynote speaker.
Weather Channel star Jim Cantore will serve as the opening speaker at the event. He will discuss what weather changes look like over the next 50 years.
IECA"s Environment Connection stands as the premier conference for those in the erosion, sediment control and stormwater industry. There will be professionals from over 25 countries in attendance in Atlanta on February 21-24.
For the past 25 years, Cantore has covered every major weather event. He was hired by The Weather Channel out of college and made his television debut in 1986.
Weeknights, you can catch Cantore on the network's "Weather Center Live." He is also a frequent presence NBC and MSNBC programs.
In 2013, Cantore was inducted into the Punxsutawney Weather Discovery Center Hall of Fame and the Silver Circle of the National Television Academy of Arts & Sciences Southeast Chapter. He is also a Fellow of the American Meteorological Society.
