IACC Names Alibaba Group Chairman Jack Ma Keynote Speaker for Annual Conference

One of the world's biggest intellectual property conferences is coming to Orlando next month. The International AntiCounterfeiting Conference is holding their annual spring conference May 18-20 at the Hyatt Regency Orlando.
Keynoting the event is Alibaba Group Executive Chairman Jack Ma. Ma presides over the world's largest online and mobile marketplace, making his uniquely qualified to discuss the importance of e-commerce and the security challenges faced by the industry.
The overall theme of the IACC Spring Conference is "Securing the Global Supply Chain from Counterfeiting and Piracy". Tickets to attend are $1,300 for members and $2,600 for non-members.
Ma founded Alibaba Group in 1999. He oversaw the company's tremendous growth as CEO until stepping down in 2013.
There is no question however that Ma continues to play an important role in the direction of Alibaba Group as Executive Chairman. In 2009 and 2014, he was named to Time's list of the 100 most influential people in the world.
Ma holds the distinction of being the first person from the Chinese mainland featured on the cover of Forbes. He is currently on the board of directors for Huayi Brothers Media Corporation and SoftBank.
