Harvard professor Michael Norton is speaking at one of the unique events around the country. Norton is the keynote speaker at the 15th Annual Best Practices Summit on Employee Engagement in Corporate Citizenship.
The summit is held by Charities@Work March 28-30 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. Norton will speak on the second day of the conference.
The theme of the summit is "Bridging Worlds to Scale Impact". Three-day tickets cost $650, but there are a variety of other packages and discounts to take advantage of.
Norton is the Harold M. Brierley Professor of Business Administration at Harvard and also a member of the school's Behavioral Insights Group. He was previously a fellow at MIT Media Lab and MIT's Sloan School of Management.
Norton co-wrote "Happy Money: The Science of Smarter Spending". Over three million people have viewed his TEDx Talk, How to Buy Happiness.
In 2012, Wired Magazine named Norton one of "50 People Who Will Change the World". He has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Williams College and a Ph.D. from Princeton University.
