Google Executive Dr. Ken Gabriel Named Keynote Speaker for Sensors Expo & Conference

One of Google's top executives will be the keynote speaker for the Sensors Expo & Conference. Dr. Ken Gabriel gives the opening keynote address for the conference on June 22nd.
It runs June 22-23 at McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California. The conference is the nation's leading event that discusses sensors and sensor-integrated systems.
In his presentation, Gabriel will address how sensors are the unsung heroes of technology. Main conference passes can be purchased for the early bird price of $899 until June 17th.
Gabriel currently serves as the Deputy Director of Google's Advanced Technology and Projects Group. He is credited as the founder of the Microelectromechanical Systems industry.
As a co-founder of the fabless semiconductor company Akustica, Gabriel developed the MEMS industry. Previously, he also oversaw a budget of $3 billion as the Acting Director of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
Before being named the agency's acting director in 2009, Gabriel had =spent another tenure with DARPA from 1992-1997. He has taught courses around the world and was awarded MIT's Carlton Tucker Prize for Excellence in Teaching.
