The American Farm Bureau Federation has the schedule set for their FUSION conference. It runs February 10-13 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and features several top speakers.
One of those is humorist Charles Petty. Petty grew up on a farm in Arkansas, so that background should serve him well as he addressed those in attendance.
There will be several other events that bring together people from AFBF's promotion & education, women's leadership and young farmers & ranchers programs. The conference concludes with a grand finale at the home of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Heinz Field.
Petty uses his background growing up in agriculture to entertain audiences. He is a work/life balance humorist who speaks to community groups of varying diversity.
Petty has given over 3,600 presentations in all 50 states and 15 different countries. He is a member of the National Speakers Hall of Fame.
Before entering the motivational speaking world in 1985, Petty was on the staff of the Governor of North Carolina for ten years. He also worked for large corporations in North Carolina and Texas.
