Former Tufts University Student Actor Hank Azaria Named Commencement Speaker

Hank Azaria left Tufts University and embarked on a wildly successful acting career. On May 22nd, he will return to campus as commencement speaker.
Commencement will take place on The Green starting at 9 a.m. Tickets are not required for the ceremony.
In addition to speaking, Azaria will be awarded an honorary doctor of humane letters degree. While originally falling two credits short of his Tufts degree, he completed his undergraduate work at UCLA in 1988.
Azaria has won five Emmys, four of them in the Outstanding Voice-Over Performance category. He is well known for voicing a variety of characters on the iconic series "The Simpsons".
One of his Emmy Awards was won for his part in the critically acclaimed television movie "Tuesdays with Morie". Azaria also has had memorable roles on the big screen in films like "The Birdcage", "Godzilla", and "Along Came Polly".
On TV, Azaria had recurring roles in the hit series "Mad About You" and "Friends". He most recently has played the part of Ed Cochran in the Showtime series "Ray Donovan".
