Former Texas Governor Rick Perry will be speaking at a major conference this winter right in his home state. Omnitracs has tapped Perry to speak at their annual user event taking place at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas January 31st-February 3rd.

Perry's 14-year plus run as Governor of Texas is the longest tenure in state history and only three other governors had served three terms. He was the Chairman of the Republican Governors Association in 2008 and 2011.
In 1984, Perry began a career in politics by being elected to the Texas House of Representatives. He also served as Commissioner of Agriculture and Lieutenant Governor under future U.S. President George W. Bush.
Most recently, Perry has sought the Republican nomination for President in the last two election cycles. His background for leadership was forged during five years in the Air Force after graduation from Texas A&M University.
