Richard Grasso was the right person at the right time to head the New York Stock Exchange. Today, he uses that experience to inspire and motivate audiences during speeches.
Grasso gets another opportunity to do that next month as the keynote speaker at the Inaugural Cyber Investing Summit. The summit is being held May 3rd at the New York Stock Exchange.
The Cyber Investing Summit is a day-long event that hones in on investment opportunities and trends in cyber security. There will be a variety of panels throughout the day and a cocktail reception on the NYSE floor at the end of the event.
Grasso was the NYSE chairman and CEO from 1995-2003. He oversaw the most successful period in the 225-year history of the exchange.
Most notably, Grasso ushered the NYSE into a new era, implementing critical security initiatives to protect investor information in a cyber world. He also gained notoriety for guiding the exchange through the aftermath of September 11th.
Grasso is the founder of Gladiator Holdings and on the Advisory Board at root9B. He is vice-chairman of The Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation and Nassau County Police Crime Stoppers as well.
