As the former Head of Training for The Walt Disney Company, Doug Lipp has expert insight into the service industry. That makes him the perfect speaker for The Service Company's Smarter Services Executive Symposium.
The symposium will be held September 14-16 in Chicago, Illinois at the Swissotel. The theme of the event is "Service Success Tomorrow" and Lipp's presentation is titled, "It's a Small, Small World: The Globe is Shrinking. Is Your Business Expanding?".
Lipp plans to talk about how attendees can take their teams to a higher level while maintaining creativity. Early bird registration is still available for $775.
At 29 years old, Lipp was named the head of employee training at Disney. One of his signature accomplishments was helping create the first international Disney University at Tokyo Disneyland.
Lipp originally joined Disney in 1978 as a marketing intern. Following his run in Japan, he returned to lead the training team and develop leadership courses for Disney studio employees.
Upon leaving Disney in the mid-1980's, Lipp ran several consultancy firms. He has written several books in both English and Japanese.
