Former CNBC Analyst Marci Rossell Speaks at Lubbock Economic Forecast Luncheon

This week, one of the most prominent personalities on television talking about the economy spoke at the Lubbock Economic Forecast Luncheon in Texas. Former CNBC analyst Marci Rossell was the guest on hand to speak at the Overton Hotel and Conference Center.
The event was put on by the Lubbock Economic Development Alliance. Many were able to speak about projects that are ongoing in Lubbock and the city's growth.
Rossell had a broader view, speaking about the U.S. and world economy. She centered many of her comments on the rise of the Millenial generation and the effects that has.
Rossell is the former Chief Economist for CNBC. She gained great notoriety in the aftermath of the September 11th attacks when she talked viewers through the turmoil in financial markets.
During her time at CNBC, Rossell served as a host on their morning news program, "Squawk Box." Before joining the network, she worked at OppenheimerFunds as a Corporate Economist and Investment Spokesperson.
Rossell's previous experience includes serving as an expert witness for Deloitte and Touche and working as an economist in Dallas at the Federal Reserve Bank. She holds a Ph.D. in economics from Southern Methodist University.
