Farmer Howard Buffett Speaks at USDA's Agriculture Outlook Panel

The USDA is bringing in a familiar name to speak at their Agriculture Outlook panel this February. Howard Buffett, son of billionaire investor Warren Buffett, will address the group assembled for the 92nd annual edition of the forum February 25-26.
The event is being held at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel in Arlington, Virginia. An early registration fee of $425 is still available this week and there are discounts for students as well.
The title of the panel is "Providing Leadership for Present and Future Generations in the Transformation of Agriculture". Over 1,600 people are expected to attend.
Buffett is President of Buffett Farms. His Howard G. Buffett Foundation also contributes money and runs farming research initiatives.
Buffett serves on several boards including for Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. and The Coca-Cola Company. He has received numerous awards for his humanitarian work including the World Ecology Award and the George McGovern Leadership Award.
Buffett has written eight books and landed on the New York Times bestseller list for "40 Chances: Finding Hope in a Hungry World". He has been published by outlets like The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post as well.
