A man who has led some of the top companies in the world has been tapped as the keynote speaker at the HCM Excellence Conference. Former Apple and Pepsi CEO John Sculley speaks on January 26th at the event that serves the Human Capital Management industry.
Sculley's presentation will focus on the new American workforce and what it means for HCM leaders. The overall conference runs January 24-27 at the PGA Resort and Spa in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The conference is being run by Brandon Hall Group. Those who attend will get great input on how to create a top-notch employee experience.
Sculley worked his way up at PepsiCo, originally starting out as a trainee in 1967. Three years later, he became the company's youngest vice president of marketing at 30.
Sculley is best known for the wildly-successful Pepsi Challenge advertising campaign. In 1977, he became the youngest president and CEO in company history.
From 1983-1993, Sculley took the lessons he learned at PepsiCo to the technology sector as the CEO at Apple. He led the company through a tremendous period of growth and is well-known for providing the strategies necessary to mass-market Mac computers.
