Entrepreneur Toya Wright Keynotes The Couture Power Conference

This past Sunday, The Couture Power Conference took place to empower millennial business leaders in Greenville, South Carolina.  It was put on at Zen Greenville and featured a notable keynote speaker from the world of reality television. 

Toya Wright was the special guest who spoke from the heart about the struggles she faced starting her own boutique.  She also talked about the importance of mentorship in business. 

The overall theme of the conference is, "The Time is Now".  In addition to Wright's presentation, there were several panels and networking opportunities to attend throughout the day. 

Wright is the owner of the New Orleans-based boutique G.A.R.B. and the GARB Shoetique in Georgia.  In 2011, she starred in the BET series, "Toya: A Family Affair".  

Wright is an author of several books.  Her latest, "In My Own Words....My REALity" is set to be released on October 11th.  

Originally, Wright gained great notoriety for her relationship with and subsequent marriage to Lil' Wayne.  The couple divorced in 2006, but have one daughter together.
