Quickbooks' Small Business Big Game initiative has shed light on the challenged and triumphs of small business everywhere.  The contest runs through January and noted entrepreneur and media personality Bill Rancic has been championing the cause.

Rancic has been involved from the start and meeting with the contestants.  From a list of ten, three finalists were recently chosen and one of those companies will receive a commercial on Super Bowl Sunday.  

30-second spots during the game can run around $5 million in addition to production costs.  This is the third year that Quickbooks parent company, Intuit, has run the contest and Rancic has been involved each time.

The season one winner of The Apprentice has had limitless opportunities comes his way since his 2004 victory.  Rancic stayed with the Trump Organization for several years before branching out to other entrepreneurial and real estate interests.

In addition to his business endeavors, Rancic has also found an unlikely career as TV personality.  He is the host of Food Network's Kitchen Casino, co-hosted the syndicated America Now, and starred on the reality series, Giuliana & Bill, with his wife.
