Emmy-Nominated TV Host Samantha Harris Speaks at Breast Cancer Luncheon in October

The Woodlands Hospital made sure they booked a big-time speaker for their annual breast cancer luncheon.  Former Dancing With the Stars host Samantha Harris keynotes the In the Pink Health Luncheon on October 14th. 

The event will be held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott & Convention Center.  Harris will speak about her own journey with breast cancer and inspire others battling difficult situations. 

She was originally diagnosed with Stage II invasive breast cancer in 2014.  Fortunately, Harris is now cancer-free and working towards encouraging others in their fight against cancer. 

Harris co-hosted eight seasons of Dancing With the Stars on ABC alongside Tom Bergeron.  She also was a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight from 2010-2012.  

Currently, Harris is a fill-in host for Access Hollywood Live and The Better Show.  Her lengthy background in entertainment television includes roles on The Insider and E!.  

Outside of the hosting world, Harris is a passionate health and fitness advocate.  She is a certified public trainer who often discusses workout and healthy eating techniques on various shows.
