Economic Analyst Mark Zandi Speaks at Florida State Real Estate Conference

Last week, the Real Estate TRENDS Conference drew a packed house to Florida State. The event put on by the Florida State Real Estate Center had a sold-out crowd of over 600 people in attendance.
One of the featured speakers that drew rave reviews was economic analyst Mark Zandi. It was the 22nd year that the conference was held.
Festivities began on October 13th at the Champions Club at Doak Campbell Stadium with former FSU quarterback and ESPN personality Danny Kanell. The following day, all sessions including Zandi's presentation were held at the Augustus B. Turnbull III Florida State Conference Center.
Zandi has served as the chief economist and director of economic researcher at Moody's Analytics. In 2005, Moody's bought the company he founded, Economy.com.
Zandi's areas of research include macroeconomics, financial markets and public policy. He has recently focused on mortage foreclosure and mortgage finance reform.
Zandi is often sought after to testify before Congress on his areas of expertise. He sits on the board of directors at MGIC and The Reinvestment Fund.
