The Content Marketing Conference has attracted attendees all week seeking to improve their digital presence. On Thursday, they had a communications expert address them about writing.
Josh Bernoff presented his keynote address "Writing Without Bullshit" from 8:35-9:30 a.m. He discussed how writers can stand out with powerful phrases added to their content.
The conference has been held at The Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. An all-access pass to attend ran $1,647.
Bernoff has a bevy of experience as a professional writer for over 30 years. He spent over 20 of those at Forrester Research after joining the tech company in 1995.
In the first year of its launch, Bernoff's blog generated over a million views. He has written multiple books, including the Business Week bestseller, "Groundswell: Winning in a World Transformed by Social Technologies".
Prior to becoming a Forrester analyst, Bernoff began his career with a series of tech start-ups. He holds a bachelor's degree from Penn State and went to graduate school at MIT as a National Science Foundation fellow in mathematics.
