Comedians Tina Fey and Chris Rock Named Speakers for 2016 Produced By: New York

2016 Produced By: New York will have a big comedy punch this October.  The Producers Guild of America has scheduled comedians Tina Fey and Chris Rock to speak at the event. 

It takes place October 29th at the Time Warner Center in New York City.  Produced By is the guild's signature event that brings top entertainment industry leaders together to discuss the latest innovations.  

Fey's conversation is titled, "Triple Threat: Conversation with Tina Fey". Rock will be joined in the presentation, "Dying is Easy. Comedy is Hard" with Red Hour Films Stuart Cornfeld.  

The "triple threat" designation refers to Fey's roles as an actress, producer and writer.  She had a tremendous kickstart to her comedy career from 1998-2006 with the opportunity to work on "Saturday Night Live". 

Fey parlayed that into a starring role on the hit NBC sitcom "30 Rock" for eight years.  She is an eight-time Emmy winner and has become one of the biggest stars in Hollywood.

Rock has long been one of the pillars of the comedy community.  He also got great exposure as a Saturday Night Live castmember in the early 1990's.  

Routinely, Rock appears on rankings of the greatest stand-up comedians of all-time.  He is also known for various film roles and his highly-successful HBO comedy specials.
