In September, Columbia Business School professor Adam Galinsky got awarded a unique opportunity. He was a speaker at the second TEDxNewYork event.
There were 500 New Yorkers in attendance on September 10th at the SVA Theatre to hear from presenters. The overall theme of the event was, "Down the Rabbit Hole."
14 different speakers and four performers shared their message. Galinsky discussed how we work with and against each other in the process of achieving goals.
Galinsky is the Vikram S. Pandit Professor of Business at Columbia and chair of the Management Division. He has published over 200 articles about management and social psychology.
Galinsky co-authored the bestselling book, "Friend & Foe." He has served as a business consultant for hundreds of clients and run workshops for multiple Fortune 100 companies.
This year, the Society of Experimental Social Psychology bestowed Galinsky with their Career Trajectory Award. In 2015, he was named by Thinkers50 as one of the Best Thinkers on Talent.
