The Women's Leadership Conference was such a success last year, that they kept some continuity for August's 10th annual event.  CNN anchor Natalie Allen returns as host for the conference, which runs August 8-9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Last year, over 1,000 attendees were present, an increase of over 150 people from 2014.  The conference is in place to help professionals develop career skills.

Registration costs $450, which covers the workshops, a networking function and meals.  In addition to Allen as host, Boston Marathon bombing survivor Adrianne Haslet is the event's keynote speaker.

Allen currently serves as an anchor for CNN International.  She specifically anchors "CNN Newsroom" Friday through Sunday, which also reaches U.S. viewers.

This is Allen's second stint at CNN after a near-decade long run in the 1990's where she anchored massive live events like the Oklahoma City bombing and the O.J. Simpson murder trial.  She has worked in broadcast journalism for over a quarter-century and has held roles at NBC News and MSNBC as well.

At The Weather Channel, Allen was the network's first full-time environment and climate correspondent.  She began her career at WREG in Memphis and also worked for WFTV in Orlando before going national.
