Christian Comedian Jeff Allen Speaks at Adoption and Foster Home Dinner

It makes sense for a faith-based ministry to bring in a top Christian comedian to entertain the crowd at their fundraising dinner.  Jeff Allen will speak at the Christian Homes and Family Services "A Time to Laugh" Dinner and Show on October 11th. 

The Christian Homes and Family Services organization serves as an adoption and foster care center for Tyler, Texas.  This event begins at 6 p.m.  at Green Acres Baptist Church CrossWalk Conference Center. 

There are over 600 people expected to attend.  Individual tickets are $50 and sponsorship packages are also available.  

Allen was a comedian but did not really find his groove until he found God.  The former atheist transformed his act to provide clean fun while talking about life's challenges. 

Allen has performed on networks like Comedy Central, Odyssey Channel and VH1.  He had a one-hour special, "Happy Wife, Happy Life", on Family Net. 

On two occasions, Allen was the featured performer at the National Prayer Breakfast.  He also was a guest act at George W. Bush's inauguration.
